Successful weekend at the UKC Regional Qualifier Cluster in Hutchinson, MN, May 4th-5th, 2024!

 Jack Daniels and Foxtrot had a lot of successes this past weekend! JD won the Grand Champion class twice, one reserve, 2 Best of Breeds and qualified in rally obedience both days to also earn 2 TOTAL DOG AWARDS! He also won a HUGE Herding Group! Foxy was reserve best female in one show, and Best Female in the 3 other shows, completing her competition wins for her championship…only a few more points to go! A great first big girl show for her! Jack Daniels’ successes also completed the requirements for his EMERALD GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP! 

New IABCA Int’l Champion!

 On April 27th, 2024, Jack Daniels ventured into the IABCA world of conformation dog shows and earned 3 V-1 ratings from 3 different judges, as well as a Herding Group 1, a Bred-By Exhibitor herding group 1, a Bred-By herding group 2, and a RESERVE BEST IN SHOW BRED BY EXHIBITOR! Very proud of this young man!

Jack Daniels earned his first points in AKC conformation!

 Jack Daniels was entered in the Am Bred class at the Mason City AKC conformation shows on April 20th-21st, 2024. He was WINNERS DOG AND BEST OF WINNERS over very nice competition both days! His earned his first points towards his AKC Championship! Thank you to his handler, Kelly Foehl, for presenting him and loving him so well!!

Jack Daniels wins back to back BEST IN SHOWS!

 On September 30th, 2023, we entered Jack Daniels in one day of UKC shows in Hugo, MN hosted by the Northern Lights American Eskimo Dog Association. He went BEST IN SHOW in both shows! Thank you to judges Diana Allen and Joseph Allen! 

Exciting news and updates!!!

    A lot has happened this summer! We welcomed our newest litter at the end of May and then the following week, we picked up everyone and everything and moved to another suburb of the twin cities...bigger home, more land for the dogs, and more possibilities as we grow in our church, in our community, and in our careers, callings, and of course in our pursuit of excellence within our shepherd dogs. We sold all of our puppies from the Tanq x Llelu litter, except for one special sable girl we call Foxtrot. She and others in her litter will be shown in conformation and sporting events. Jack Daniels, our up-and-coming male is maturing wonderfully and he had a big weekend in UKC conformation. On September 8th-10th, he was entered into 6 rally obedience trials, qualifying in each trial to complete the requirements for his URO2 and URO3 titles. He also won Champion of Champions in 4 conformation shows, reserve champion in one show, completing his requirements for his Grand Championship! He was moved up to the Grand Champion class where he then won the class, Best of Breed, Herding Group first, and Best in Show! These wins qualified him for a total dog award each day and he also won Total Dog Best in Show on Saturday! Good job Jack Daniels! Foxtrot also earned Best of Breed Novice puppy in two shows! We have many exciting things planned for both Jack Daniels and Foxy and can't wait for their continued successes in and out of the showring! 

New babies!

 On May 20th, 2023, we welcomed our Memorial Day themed litter! Llelu whelped 10 beautiful puppies in under 4 hours! The proud daddy is Tanq, bred and owned by Beth Hansen and Elaine Hurrle of MN. In birth order, the puppies are: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Valor, Honor, Gallant, and Liberty. 3 girls, 7 boys. 2 solid blacks, 4 black and tans, and 4 sables! We love them all so much! 

Lots of exciting updates for our crew!

 On Feb. 2nd-5th, 2023 Jack Daniels and Llelu competed in UKC conformation shows in Pine City, MN hosted by Apple Blossom Kennels! Jack Daniels was only entered on the 3rd, and he was reserve champion in the first show and then he was Champion of Champions, Best of Breed, and second in the herding group in show two! Thank you judge Mary Ellen Meyer! Llelu was entered the other 3 days and was awarded champion of champions in two shows finishing her UKC Grand Championship! She also was Best of Breed in one show! Thank you judges Tracie Karsjens and Mary Murphy-East on these wins! She went from the classes to Grand Champion in only four show weekends, being the only white German Shepherd competing at these shows. To say we are proud is an understatement!

On March 20th, 2023, we confirmed via ultrasound, that Llelu is expecting her next litter, due May 22nd! The sire is a beautiful, happy-go-lucky black sable; UKC CH Tanqueray von Katzel! We will accept a couple more reservations for this litter! Thank you to his breeder and owners on allowing us to use Tanq! We are so excited for this litter! 

On April 13th, we received another great report from OFA! Our bred by boy, UKC CH Faithful's Hope from Heaven ("Augie") co-owned by the Viswanathan family, has OFA certified Good hips and Normal elbows! 

And last but not least....

Jack Daniels was entered into conformation and rally obedience events at the UKC Minnesota Spring Cluster in Hutchinson, MN hosted by the United German Shepherd Dog Alliance, SISU Dog Sporting Club, and Whispering Echos Farm on April 22nd-23rd. He was reserve champion twice, and was Champion of Champions, Best of Breed, and WON a HUGE Herding Group 1! He also qualified in all four rally obedience trials, earning his URO1 rally title! These wins in conformation and rally also earned his first two TOTAL DOG AWARDS!!!! Great job JD! Thank you judges Dawn Fisher, Valerie Piltz, Mary Ellen Meyers, and Lila Fast for these wins!
